Do you want even more fun? Swisscom Skimovie guarantees you a unique skiing experience, with cameras filming your entire descent from start to finish. At the end, you will receive your best time and a video of your descent, which you can easily view by entering your ski pass number at www.swisscomsnowcup.ch or in the Swisscom Snow Cup app.
The Swisscom Snow Cup, Switzerland’s biggest ski race, is already entering its fifth season. Compete with your friends by recording your best time on the Skimovie course, collect points and medals, see how much ground you can cover or just join in for fun. It’s really easy to see your results and videos in the app, and to share them with friends.
And, of course, you can use the app to take part in the Swisscom Snow Cup in the eight Swiss ski resorts of Arosa Lenzerheide, Brigels, Crans-Montana, Grächen, Jungfrau Ski Region, Lenk, Stoos and Zermatt.
Each month’s top point-scorer will receive a Mate 10 Pro smartphone worth CHF 799, sponsored by Huawei.
The season winner, the person who has amassed the most points across all the ski resorts by the end of the season, will win a ski weekend.
The winner will enjoy an action-packed stay in the mountains, with a 3-day pass valid for two people throughout the Adelboden-Lenk ski region. He/she and a companion will spend three nights at the Hotel Simmenhof in der Lenk, including half board, access to the wellness centre with indoor and outdoor pools (32°C), lockable ski storage area, shuttle service to the valley stations of the Lenk mountain railways and an outdoor parking space. The prize is not available during the week between Christmas and New Year.
Every month, all participants will be entered in a draw to win a cool winter set. The set includes a helmet, ski goggles and a pair of ski sticks, sponsored by the Scott brand.
Runs may be disqualified if they are not completed in accordance with the rules.
Only runs that have been filmed in their entirety will be counted (the skier must be visible throughout the video). Technical errors may lead to a run being disqualified. This can happen, for example, if the run cannot be filmed in full due to direct sunlight or other weather-related issues. Unfortunately, since only fully filmed runs can be counted, such technical errors lead to disqualification, regardless of whether the course was correctly completed or not.
Ski pass numbers may be entered up to three days after the end of the month/season. The rankings will then be frozen.
The prize draw and presentation will be organised by Swisscom.
Prizes cannot be accumulated and will not be paid out in cash.
The judge’s decision is final.
Employees of mountain railway operators, Swisscom and Alturos may not win prizes.
